DETAILED ITINERARY
Day 1: Arrival in Ulaabaatar
After breakfast, we will begin our city tour of Ulaanbaatar. Our first stop is the Chinggis Khaan National Museum, where we will explore Mongolia’s rich history and culture. After lunch, we will visit the Nomadic World Culture Festival in Nalaikh District.

Day 2: Ulaanbaatar – Khovd city tour

After breakfast, we will transfer to Chinggis Khaan International Airport for our flight to Hovd. Upon arrival, we will check into the hotel and start our tour of Hovd. Our visits will include:

Day 3: Khovd City – Khar Us Lake – Zereg Soum
Day 3: Khovd City – Khar Us Lake – Zereg Soum
After breakfast, we will travel to Khar Us Lake for birdwatching and enjoy the stunning natural scenery. From there, we continue to Zereg Soum, where we will visit Erdenebat’s herdsman family and experience traditional nomadic life for a day.

Day 4: Zereg soum- Altan teel and Tooroi White sand dunes , Nomadic camel migration.
After breakfast, we will join a nomadic family in a camel migration and travel approximately 7 km to the Tooroi White Sands on horseback and camelback. Here, we will witness Mongolian nomadic customs, which were inscribed on UNESCO's Intangible Cultural Heritage List in 2024.

Day 5: Mankhan soum – 3 tsenkher gave – Duut soum

We will travel to Mankhan Soum to visit the Tsenkher Cave, which contains petroglyphs dating back 40,000 years to the Upper Paleolithic period. After a picnic lunch near the cave, we will drive to Duut Soum, where we will visit an Uriankhai ethnic nomadic family and learn about their unique traditions.

Day 6: Duut soum- Uriankhai ethnic family - Cultural performances of (UNESCO)

We will spend the day exploring the lifestyle of an Uriankhai ethnic herder family in Duut Soum, one of the highest points in Mongolia. Highlights include:

Cultural performances of UNESCO-listed traditions such as Tuuli (epic storytelling), Tsuur (flute playing), and Biy Biylgee (traditional dance)
