Since ancient times, Mongolians have venerated the stirrups as a symbol of growth and support. The power of the stirrups is that it supports any force from below.

The clear example of the above-mentioned representative is that dropping a milk on the stirrups of a person that is heading out to any business. Also, it is said that having a stirrup in a family traditional chest, it will accumulate wealth due to the meaning of the material.

Speaking as from a religion, there are many myths and old sayings about that stirrups blocks any kind of curse, evil speaking, hex, jealousy, on behalf of their owner and burst up into million pieces. Also, in childless families and families without sons

About the company

Döroo Travel LLC was established in 2019 in Khovd Province, specializing in tourism.

The company’s founder and director, E. Munkhzaya, holds a degree in Finance.
Operations Manager, S. Altangerel, is a Cultural Heritage Researcher by profession.

We collaborate with local communities, including herder households, guides, drivers, cooks, legal professionals, doctors, and photographers.

In 2023, we expanded our operations to the capital city, Ulaanbaatar, and officially registered as a tour operator company with the Professional Tourism Association, a public legal entity. Additionally, we became members of industry associations in the European and American markets.

In September 2024, we successfully launched our first cultural tourism event in Khovd Province. Partnering with the herder families of the Zakhchin ethnic group in Zereg Soum, we organized a 4-day Camel Migration Tour, showcasing multi-ethnic lifestyles, traditions, and customs. This marked the beginning of our journey toward promoting local culture-based tourisma.
